London-based five-piece Nimmo are fronted by singers Sarah Nimmo and Reva Gauntlett. The duo, formerly known as Nimmo and the Gauntletts, cut their teeth performing in pubs and clubs before finally being scooped up by Columbia for their so-far unannounced debut album. Their sparkling new cut 'Dilute This' could well be the first taste of the record, though. Packed with rubbery bass pops, searing streaks of synth and zipping beats, there's a La Roux-ish mainline pop feel to the track, compounded by Nimmo and Gauntlett's infectious repetitions: 'We dilute this.' Ironic, given its immediate status as a concentrated hit of chart-aiming goodness. - DC
